'Amazing' Daughter ID'd As 18-Year-Old Found Dead Outside Everett Apartment

An 18-year-old woman who was found dead outside of an Everett apartment this week has been identified by her family as Kya Donovan of Manchester, New Hampshire.

"My beautiful, intelligent, resilient Kya Donovan Kashh Bábyy was an amazing daughter, loving sister and wonderful friend," Kya's father David Donovan said in a Facebook post. "This is a lot to process and would appreciate patience during this time while we try to keep the pieces together."

Kya's body was found outside of a home on Springvale Avenue around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, June 13, the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office reports.

Initial investigation determined there were no obvious injuries and that Kya's death is being investigated as suspicious, the DA's Office said. Kya's mother Jennipher said her daughter was last seen around 1 p.m. and her purse and phone were found on Springvale Avenue.

An official cause of death has yet to be determined. The investigation is ongoing.
